Phoenix Rising.

Since I reinstalled windows XP I have noticed some odd issues. For starters
when I right click on a menu it ghost images and disappears a soon as I
remove my finger . I have to click it several times before it stays. Also If
I go back into something I've typed trying to place the cursor in the right
spot, when I click it it highlights the whole word instead of just marking
the spot with a line. If i click it again it highlights. If I click again it
either highlights the whole sentance or the whole body of what I'm typing.
The click after that gives me what I wanted a spot where the cursor can
either add a letter or do what I want. these problems occur in all programs.
Final issue for now- When I am in outlook express checking mail 2 things.
First when I click on anew mail it autmatically opens it in and opens it also
in another small window.I have it set not to do that unless I double click on
it. And last - When I check mail after it checks it disconnects my ISP link
and knocks me of line. The little box is checked . This happens
intermittently. I have gone to tools, connections tab and made sure the box
marked " Hang up after sending and receiving " is unchecked. It's a Conundrum
to me.
If any one can solve these mysteries I'm listening.

You have posted to an Outlook group, and not an Outlook Express group, they
are completely different programs

Some of the other issues may have arisen as a result of how / or what you
mean exactly by reinstalling Winxp
ie a repair installation, clean installation. Questions on this should be
posted to a WinXP group

This group has nothing to do with either Windows XP or Outlook Express. You
would want to post in the groups that do.
