Outlook and Outlook Connector - can't send

I've recently installed Outlook Connector and have linked it to my
msn/hotmail account and now...for whatever reason...I can receive but not
send email. I can write the email, hit the send button but from there it just
sits in my outbox and never sends. This is a copy of the synchronization log:
The following issues occured while synchronizing with the server:

Error Synchronizing Message
Error with Send/Receive.

Folder Collection Sync Key: 0{d568b135-5557-4e10-8a03-50442b23ef64}67

Message Collection Sync Key: 0{bc964b80-4689-475a-a22b-b5d51464dc2b}66

Also, under "Actions" there is no longer a send/receive option.

Any ideas?
