Outlook and Outlook Express

Steve

Hello,

I had Windows XP Home reinstalled recently and all was
going well.

I then reinstalled Office 97 with default settings.

As I prefer outlook Express, I uninstalled Outlook and
then went into IE to set Outlook Express as the mail
programme, under "Tools", "Options", "Programs".

Problem is, it can not be selected as it is no longer
there - I am unable to get Outlook Express when I click
on the mail icon in IE.
I can howeer, get Outlook Express when I run it outside
of IE.

How do I rectify this so that I can have mail the old
way, when it could be accessed from within IE itself?

I hope you all follow.

Thanks,

Steve

Set OE as the default handler from within OE; Tools-> Options-> tab General.

For further assistance ask in an Outlook Express forum. This is an Microsoft
Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.

Here is the link for the right forum

Good Luck!
