Outlook and Russian

From what I've read, most modern news readers process Russian messages using
the KOI8-R codepage. However, I only get gibberish when trying to read the
Russian newsgroups. Is there some settings in Outlook that I need to turn on
for this?

Sorry. I should have mentioned that I'm running OL2003 and do have Russian
fonts and keyboard installed.

It's not Outlook, it's a Newsgroups program - Outlook Express :)
I guess, you can call it fromwithin MS Outlook, but still it's
a separate program, not part of MS Outlook code...

Anyway, all you need is a tune-up via the program's menu.

Please, see the instruction in the
"Russian in Browsers/Mail/News" section of my site
