Outlook Appointment Reminders

Hi all,

This has been a bit confusing to me at times.

If I make an appointment, or schedule a task in OL 2007, the reminder times
seem to default at 15 minutes. Which is OK, but does that mean that OL is
going to remind me of a task - appointment 15 minutes before the due time,
or 15 minutes before the due date?

In OL 2003, the reminder box would pop up about a day or two ahead of time,
regardless of the default timer setting of 15 minutes.

To make a long story short, OL 2007 is not reminding me as well as OL 2003
did.

You might post over to one of the Outlook newsgroups if you don't see an
answer here. More Outlook gurus tend to hang out over there.

I had flagged your message hoping to see an answer, also. I don't use Tasks,
so I'm not sure how they work, but generally all-day appointments have a
default 18-hour reminder, where timed appointments have a 15-minute default.

At least that's my experience...
