Two Time Zone suggestions
1. Personal Appointments
When scheduling international meetings, I want to be able to specify the
time zone for the meeting. For example, when I'm planning to meet someone in
Paris at 2pm two weeks from now,I want to specify "2pm, Central European
Time".
The advantage would be clear: When I'm in Paris and have set my laptop to
the local timezone, the meetings will actually show up in that timezone and
not in my home timezone. Also, my assistant in the office always knows what
I'm doing as seen from the office's time zone.
Right now, it's somewhat difficult in Outlook to achieve this. I know the
calendar can display different timezones but I'd prefer to have the ability
to pick a timezone from within the "Appointment" dialog.
2. Appointments with Attendees
It would be nice if Outlook could help me pick an acceptable time when
scheduling meetings. For example, I frequently schedule appointments with
people in 2 or 3 different time zones (e.g. Hong Kong, Paris, New York). It
would be really cool if Outlook could tell me which times would be most
appropriate
