Outlook as default progam

Hi all
Outlokk 2003 Win XP Pro SP2
On one of our machines, when the user clicks on a submit button from an html
form, the default program opened is Outlook Express although Outlook is the
default mail program and set in IE.
Although we have uninstalled Outlook Express the system continues to open
Outlook Express (a new msimn.exe is created each time ?)
So it looks as though Outlook is NOT set as default mail program?
Has anybody encountered this problem before and found a solution?

If relevant, in addition to my previous post,
other users use these same HTML forms and do not have Outlook express progam
called when using the submit button which is set to send a completed form
via mail.

Hi Papou,

In internet explorer - go tools->options->'programs' tab -> and change the
default email program

But I already mentionned in my post that Outlook is the default email
program in IE.
