Outlook Attachments

How come I can never send an attachment that is larger than 750KB? There are
a lot of times I need to send an attachment anywhere from 1 to 5 MG BUT it
won't go. It will sit in my outbox forever? I am using outlook 2002 and
windows xp pro.
PLEASE HELP, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME... thanks any helpers my email is

Do you have a long timeout set for your mail server? It is on the advanced
tab of your mail account properties. Also, if you have a virus scanner set
to scan incoming and outgoing mail, turn it off. It is useless on outgoing
mail since if you have an infection, it is too late, and it slows the
transmission.

suggestions, you were correct, my timeout was set way to short... thanks a
ton and i deeply apologize... thank you so much for the fix, mine was
actually set at 10 seconds, i changed it to 3 minutes and now everything i
send goes without a hitch.

Glad it worked for you and no need for apologies. It is bad practice to ask
the same question to multiple groups and not cross-post versus multi-post.
Multi-posting means that you write to several groups but not include the
rest of the groups in your post. It wastes the time of people who are
trying to help and who would not be aware of any answers posted to separate
groups.

Just glad to be of help and perhaps give a little hint as to good posting
techniques.
