Outlook Autocomplete Cache wont go away

I've deleted every *.nk2 file from my system using every method I can
come up with (ensuring that hidden and read-only files are included)
and my Outlook still has screwy autocomplete entries. We just migrated
away from exchange the autocompletes are still sending to exchange
mailboxes. It wouldn't be a big deal if my users weren't complaining
about internal e-mails not being delivered.

Can anyone offer advice? Even tools like McAffee's target.exe find
ZERO nk2 files, but the auotcomplete cache is still in tact.

Post Outlook version and the behavior that has convinced you the problem is
with autocomplete.
What did you migrate to after you migrated away from Exchange, and where
does Contact information now reside?
If you create a new Outlook profile, does the problem persist?

From what I can tell, it's only the 2003 users who have this issue. We
went with Kerio Mail Server (it's horrible, but the decision was made
before I got here). When my users simply enter a name in the "To" box
and hit send, the messages aren'd delivered (we've removed the exchange
accounts completely and disabled the MTA agent in exchange). The
couple of times I've had to connect to exchange to move some public
folders, I've seen some of these missing messages in that inbox.

This doesn't seem to be an issue with 2000, but I'm not certain.

No, it certainly wouldn't be an issue with Outlook 2000 since it had no
autocompletion feature.
This behavior cannot be reproduced in Outlook 2002/2003. Renaming or
deleting the NK2 file always clears the cache. The information simply does
not reside anywhere else. Are you certain they are using autocompletion and
not autoresolution?
Check to see if you have any *.NICK files and rename or delete them as well.
