Outlook Autocomplete (NK2) file repair

In our continuing efforts to learn more about the Outlook NK2 file, we have
discovered a situation that occurs in which your file will seemingly cease
"remembering" entries after OL has closed. Many entries may continue to be
added to the file, but OL will not recall them.

We've read so many inquiries regarding "corrupted" NK2 files that we finally
did something about it. We developed a utility that will analyze your NK2
file and determine if it is corrupted or not. For instance, your NK2 file
might be 500 KB in size, yet may only appear to contain a few hundred
entries. A general rule of thumb is 110 entries for every 100 KB in file
size. In most instances, our software can repair your file (unless you
opened the file with a text editor then saved it). Certain programs will
open the file in an attempt to extract information and in doing so may cause
permanent damage to the file. Whenever you attempt to open your NK2 file,
please make a backup first. Our software will NOT repair files that have
been opened and saved by other programs outside of Outlook.

It doesn't cost anything to determine if your file is corrupted. You may go
to our web site at www.ingressor.com, download one our programs, install it
and have it analyze your file. If it is corrupted, it will let you know and
prompt you to repair it. You may then review the repair results. You are
under NO obligation to buy the software unless you would like to use it to
repair and edit your files.

Just thought that we'd let everyone know that there is a solution to
corrupted NK2 files.
