Outlook autocorrets keep disappearing

B

Bob Day

using xp office 08...

1) is there a place to set the default path for the personal folder.pst file?

2) Several Times now, i nave entered an autocorrect in Outlook (which is a
seperate autoconnect from Word). While they work fine in word, in Outlook
the disapper after rebooting. Is this a known bug? Is there a solution? I
know I am entering them in correctly (since process is same for word and
outlook, and they work fine in word).

Thanks
Bob

what is "xp office 08' ?

1. No, but you can move the pst. Close outlook, move the pst then change
the profile to point to the new pst (do it in control panel, mail)

2. It's not a bug I'm aware of, but it sounds like some thing is causes the
email template ot be replaced. When you close Outlook, verify outlook.exe is
closed in task manager. If not, something (usually a PDA) is keeping it
open.
