Greetings.
I have the OS "Windows 2000" and right now I use Outlook 2002. Anyway I
could switch easily to the later Outlook 2003.
I would like to realize following AUTOMATIC folder categorizing:
My actual configuration, via Rules-Setting:
I have 3 different e-mail accounts, "A", "B" and "C".
Each letter a different e-mail serivce, "A"(for example msn), "B"("t-online"
for example) and "C"(for example hotmail).
I made three corresponding folders, Folder "A", Folder "B" and Folder "C"
My incoming correspondence gets automatically shifted to the according
folder
(for example: incoming Mails adressed to my E-mail account "A" are shifted
into Folder "A").
My outcoming e-mails are not sorted, they are generally shifted into the
"Sent Mails" Folder.
This is my idea of AUTOMATIC folder categorizing, which I would like to
realize with your help (probably via VBscript):
A Mr."Domian Meier" with his E-mail (e-mail address removed) contacts my at my
e-mail account "B". As soon as I contact him too (I simply respond him with
my e-mail-account "B"), it can be called/defined as correspondence (one
e-mail of "Domian Meier" AND an answer from me). Outlook shall detect this
criteria of correspondence: Outlook shall detect my answer from account "B"
and automatically build a Subfolder in Folder "B", consisting of Name and
E-mail of the Person (in this case: folder name = "Domian Meier --
(e-mail address removed)" .)
From now on the whole correspondence (in and out) with this specific Person
shall be shifted automatically in the according subfolder "Domian Meier --
(e-mail address removed)".
I assume this can be solved via VBscripting. Since I unfortunately have no
idea of VBScripting I would be very grateful for a detailed instruction or
even better a downloadable script.
Thank you.
