Outlook automatically delete somes messages without consent

Hello Outlook and Exchange fans!

First post here, for an Outlook issue I didn't succeed to resolve up t
now.

One of my user has Outlook 2007 SP1 with update from august '09 (Updat
for Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 (KB969907))

She discovered that some of its emails are received and instantl
deleted without notice nor consent (she haven't time to read them i
Inbox, messages are deleted and are not visible in Deleted Items folder
only in Recover Deleted Items window).
Every time I try to recover the deleted item, it is deleted, onl
visible in Recover Deleted Items window.

There is only one client rules, but not linked to our problem.

I tried to reset client & server rules with outlook.exe /cleanrules
no chance.
The user has no PDA or delegate access.

Any clues ?

Thanks in advance !

I forgot to precise:

We are using Exchange 2003 servers.
McAfee VirusScan 8/8.5 is present on client computer

I will activate Outlook logs to see if any issue-related actions are
logged

If the messages are in their Inbox at first things either get deleted by a
3rd party solution or the default delivery location has been set to a
pst-file. This would affect all emails in her Inbox then and not just
specific ones.

See if it still happens when running Outlook is Safe Mode;
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

In addition you could also check the behavior via OWA when Outlook is
closed.

Thank you Richard,

I will try to isolate the problem with the solutions you provide. I
will keep this thread updated as soon as I have more information.
