I needed to 'restory' my wife's laptop so I backed up everything important
and restore the system first...
In order to back up her Outlook info - emails, calendar, contacts, etc. - I
decided to install the Outlook 2003 Back Up add-in
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...3A-B7D0-4B16-B8AF-5A6322F4FD01&displaylang=en).
Per the MS download page info/instructions the .pst file contains ALL of the
outlook info - again, emails, calendar data, contacts, etc. - and when I ran
the Back Up in Outlook there was only one Personal Folder to chose from so I
couldn't have missed any or chosen the wrong one...
Yet, after I did an 'Open Backup' to restore her Outlook files neither the
calendar data or her contacts were restored... only her emails.
Anyone have any idea what might of happened or if it's still possible to
recover them from the backup file that was created???
1. She had a TON of info on her calendar and I'd for her to have to
remember and reenter it all. And,
2. I need to know if it was an error in the Outlook 'Backup' function so I
know whether or not she can depend on it capture emails AND calendar entries
in the future... or if we'll have to find another means that can...
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
