outlook backup tool online help needs explain how 2 restore backup

Recently lost all my data from Outlook. I found the Backup tool and
directions on its use but there is nothing on restoring backups or merging a
backup with data entered after creation of the backup.

The backup created is simply a copy of the pst, so you can open it within
OL. Then drag / copy data to the current pst
