Outlook backup

Is there any way to back up an inbox folder to a cd? All
I have been able to do is export to a folder within
Outlook but then not out of Outlook to the cd. I can save
as messages individually, but that is certainly tedious.

I create a .pst file, drag the messages I want to save to the Personal
Folder (PST File), close the pst file, then save that file to a CD.

To view the messages, you'll need to copy the file off the CD to a
hard-drive. Outlook cannot open files saved on CDs.
