outlook basic on a terminal server

My thin clients will run word, and excel just fine, but when I click on the
Outlook icon, outlook prompts to start in safe mode. Whether I chose yes, or
no, outlook just shuts off. I click on the icon again (this is on the thin
client, and on the server) it does the exact same thing again. Any ideas?
I'm wondering if they installed out look on the terminal server wrong?

You didn't provide any details to work like;
Version of Outlook?
Type of Terminal server solution?
How was it installed?
Type of account?
What is logged to the Event Viewer?

Sorry, it's outlook single license 2003 basic. They have two thin clients
accessing this terminal server. I don't know exactly how it was installed
other than the owner told me he just put the cd in and installed it on to the
2003 server it was installed under the administrator account. and you got
me on the event viewer....I should have looked, but was in the middle of a
laundry list of things that they needed done, so I overlooked that part. I
was going to start off by uninstalling the whole suite, reboot, create a new
user with admin rights, install the suite through add/remove programs,
reboot, logg in as admin and wipe out the new account. I am hoping that this
corrects the problem. Any further suggestions?

Thanks a bunch.

server 2003 with two thin clients. it was installed by the owner which he
just was logged in as the admin, and doesn't know what he's doing. the event
veiwer, I neglected to look into that, i was busy with a bunch of other
projects while i was there. it is a single user license of 2003 basic. The
other word applications work fine on the thin clients, it's just when I start
up outlook from the desk top. if I go into the control panel and access the
account in the mail settings. I am thinking that i will logg in as admin,
uninstall the whole suite, reboot, log in as admin, create a new user with
admin rights, log out of admin, log back in with new user account, and
install the software the correct way. I'm hoping that will correct my
problem. If you have any tips, I hope I gave you enough information, and
thanks.

Terminal Server is configured in application mode I assume?
Try basic troubleshooting steps;
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/outlookdoesntstart.htm

Otherwise; post the Event Viewer entry generated.

FYI: mind your licenses!
