Outlook behavior

Hello All,

Anyone seen outlook changes the view on its own to italics?

Also, I am getting conflicting messages where I have to
double click and delete one. But I have not made any
changes to make any conflicting changes. The only change
is that I am consistently working offline in Office 2000
and using quick sync to manually synchronize
inbox/deleted/sent/outbox.
