I have installed the beta version of Outlook (with business contact manager)
on my HP, which is running XP media, and every time I add a contact or a note
about a meeting or phone call, I immediately get a reminder that pops up for
it. If I click on the reminder it takes be back to the page where I entered
the information about the phone call / meeting but there is no where for me
to click or edit the reminder (which I don't need in the first place, since
it is for a logging of a meeting).
Anyways, If I click dismiss or snooze it will not go away - it just blinks
(the little screen disappears like it is following orders) but then it
immediately comes back up with the same reminders. There have been times
that I have been able to get one or two to snooze for 2 weeks, but the ones
specially attached to the logged in information refuse to go away. And if I
let the reminders sit and wait, and then try to dismiss them, it creates
another reminder the one I try to dismiss, with the wait time to the right
saying "Now" on the new one and "5 minutes" for example on the old one.
I tried the /cleanreminders trick, hoping that might do something, but it
didn't do anything. Oh, and I can't find a list of these reminders - they do
not show up in any of the task lists or anything.
Any ideas?
