Outlook birthdays and holidays get messed up when changing time zones.
The calendar should be able to tell that things marked "birthday" --
especially when it put them in via the Outlook Contact "birthday field" --
shouldn't get moved around based on the time zone. What a pain in the butt
that was to fix.
It's trivial, but it's a total nuisance.
The way I fixed it, after making about 100 changes by hand, was deleting all
my contacts and deleting all the “birthdays†from my calendar and then
reimporting all my contacts. Still, pain in the butt. Outlook should be
smarter and put Birthdays and Holidays it creates into categories that aren’t
effected by a change in time zone.
