getting the following message on one of our sales computers when a customer
attempts to send a document

signature_.pdf.url

Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments.

1st what is a pdf.url ? some type of adobe document but what ??

How do i keep Outlook from blocking this ??

it could be a virus/worm. (they use a double tapped extension to fool the
user into thinking that it is a safe attachment type like *.pdf) has the
user written back the sender to confirm that it was something they sent to
them?

yes, from what we gather fom the customer, he has attached several drawings
and documents that he wanted the sales girl to open and print out. I first
thought that it might be due to the number of attachments or file size.

The other thing is that the ISA server let it through adn the Norton's
Antivirus and Antivirus for Exchange have let it through. Outlook is the
one blocking it.

We had him send just one attachment vs the 7 that he originally sent,
neither came through.

Files are of the type:

197d5291_shto_5_signature_.PDF.url
197d5291p003_shto_5_signature_.pdf.url

I was wondering if he is pulling these off of a published web page or
something due to the appended .url ? But I do not know.

Thanks
