Hi,
In Office Outlook you can use the Simple Find feature to easily locate items
in the Inbox and other mail folders. The results are shown in the current
folder and unlike Advanced Find, not in a special window.
The bug:
When you perform a Simple Find and then change the view of the current
folder the find results disappear. Not only disappear but behaviour is
unexpected. Sometimes all the results disappear, at other times one only
result remains and the rest disappear and at other times, when for example
you do not change the view but only the date sort order, none of the results
disappear. But Stranger is the fact that even when changing the date sort
order it only works the first time. Subsequent times the find results
disappear. So, for example if you search for something, then reverse the
date sorting order from assending to dessending the results are correctly
reversed. However, if you bring the sorting order back to let's say
assending (change it a second time), the results disappear.
As you see, the above is surely a buggy behaviour.
Solution:
Make views work with the Simple Find results as well.
Thanks,
