Outlook Business Manager and OneNotes

Having spent a few weeks trying to integrate these 2 products in my daily
work, I am at a loss. Who designed these products, and who allowed them to be
released? Total waste of time, and so far from becoming alternative to
anything. Even pen and paper is more effective.
Shame Microsoft shame.

Perhaps watching the OneNote video could help you with the concepts. It is
very, very good and will perhaps open your view to how OneNote operates and
the program's great capabilities:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011423061033.aspx What is it
you're attempting to do with the two? I don't recall any claim that OneNote
and OBM were integrated at all, or designed as such. There seems to be a
misconception that because some programs are under the "Office" banner,
they're designed for integration with each other. That is incorrect.

So w.o.e. is the point of selling them under the same branding ? The
same applies to the preposterous MS Publisher that doesn't even have a
common file format with Word ! Really silly IMO...

Same reason GM sells both cars and SUVs under the Buick branding. It's
just marketing.
