We are using Exchange 2003 for mailbox servers. Most of users are using
outlook 2003. Only a few using Outlook 2000. I always thought that Outlook
cache mode (all version) has the default 15 minutes interval to sync (pull)
with mailbox to receive new emails. Send is immediate by default if
connection is available. Is that correct? I spoke with a MS tech support.
He told me that Outlook 2003 acts differently. It has no interval to sync
with mailbox to pull new emails. But he didn't say how Outlook 2003 will get
new emails. Is there a push from server? Is there a MS KB for how cache
mode works?
Thanks.
