Outlook calendar ALWAYS has a conflict.

I am using Outlook 2007. EVERY time I try to create an appointment where one
does not already exist I get the "Conflicts with another appointment on your
Calendar" message, even though no conflict exists. I get the exact same
message when I go to accept an invitation from someone, again where no
conflict exists. When I go into an existing appointment and click on
"Scheduling," it shows that I am "booked" 24/7 week after week after week.
If I go to the year 2016, for example, the problem is gone. I know I never
created an recurring event for every day of every week of every year to
expire sometime between now and 2016. I've googled this over and over and
have found no help online. Does anyone have any idea what my problem is?

if you view the calendar using By Category view, do you see it?

Does Scheduling give you any information about the appointment?
