Outlook calendar appointments have disappeared

Hello,
My appointments suddenly do not show up in any view of
calendar except when listing "active appointments". I am
using Office XP Teachers&students edition, Windows XP.
All other data bases work fine, ie, contacts, journal and
notes.
Hope someone can help.

Duh - somehow during computer maintainance yesterday the
year got switched to 1986 - now that I am back in the
correct year, my appointments are there. Thanks any way.
