Outlook calendar history length

Bill

Is there any drawback to having my calendar information history go back
forever? Does keeping all that old information slow anything down? If so,
is there a way to tell the system to only retain 6 months of history like we
do for free/busy time in the future?

thanks,
Bill

You can use the AutoArchive properties of the file to control things like
that. Right click on the Calendar folder, choose Properties and go to the
AutoArchive tab.

Keeping 'too much' data around results in bloated mailboxes or PST files
which will, in time, tend to slow things down
