Outlook Calendar moved entries not imported

I have Outlook 2003 on both my desktop and laptop. I update and synchronize the desktop frequently by exporting .pst file from the laptop and importing from that file to the desktop. I always select "Do import duplicates". All of the new entries that I've made on the laptop appear with the exception off those items that I have moved from one day to another on the laptop. Why doesn't the importation move the file to the new location?
