We have a handful of users who have problems with slow read and writes
to Outlook 2003 Calendars. Their reminders are also very unresponsive.
They are all on Outlook 2003, Windows XP Sp3, Exchange 5.5 Sp4 (yes I
know, it is scheduled for replacement)
Using the switch to clean reminders does not help the issue, rebooting
the Exhange server does help the issue.
The slowness follows the calendar, if you open the calendar for a user
who has a slow calendar it will be slow on the guest computer even while
the guest calendar is working in an acceptable manner.
The only change to the system has been the addition of Out'n About for
Outlook by Intelligentconcepts. Removal of that product does not help
the speed issue.
