Outlook Calendar wrong DST settings

D

David Hirons

Hi - I am in Sydney (AU) using MS Server 2003 with Outlook 2003. For the week commencing 31Mar all pre-existing recurring appointments are 1 hour out. (All new recurring appointments I now enter appear correct.) Both the Server and Outlook timezones are the same and the Adjust for DST checkboxes are selected.

I have added my same exchange profile to my local desktop, which runs XP and Outlook 2003, and the calendar appointments are correct.

I note that we still have the 2006 patch Commonwealth Games installed on our server, though it is not selected. It is not installed on my local PC. Could this impact anything even though it is not selected as I have read elsewhere that this patch should be uninstalled? Or are there any other suggestions or checks I can make?

Thanks
David

The patch should not be an issue if its not selected and the correct TZ
definition is installed and selected. Unless the items were created using
that or another incorrect time zone. You can use this tool to adjust the
appointments if they were created in the wrong zone.
