You would have to make whatever you mean by "the personal list" the default
information store. Details and potential side effects depend on your version
of Outlook and account configuration, which you neglected to mention.
I meant that I have two calendars in Personal Folders. One is calendar and
the other calendar 1. I am running Outlook 2003 on Windows XP at home.

Tools | E-mail Accounts. You set the default store under the account list.
It will also change your default Inbox, Tasks, Journal, Contacts,Sent Items,
etc.
