Because it is Microsoft! Use Apples iCalendar. It has the correct day November 8. I find it appalling that Microsoft has not fixed this error. The presidential election is an important date. But this does not surprise me as I have had other issues with Microsoft in the past. Such as when with Microsoft word it would drop headers and footers. When I contacted them they sent a patch out that was over year prior to when I purchased my Microsoft Office bundle. It cost me time and money because I kept thinking the problem was me and not Microsoft and I was wrong it was Microsoft. They make billions of dollars and put out products with flaws and are slow to fix and are not proactive in letting their customers know there is a fix.
