Outlook calendaring is COMPLETE crap!

I've been reading this newsgroup for years. Apparently Microsoft doesn't
care what users say.

How in God's name can they not have fixed the timezone issue with all day
appts? If I change my timezone then the all day appt. will span 2 days. It's
ridiculous. This has been an issue forever.

Anyone know if Star Office is more travel friendly?

There are no calendaring apps (stand alone/outlook-like) that even come
close to the power of Outlook. It's worth sticking with, even with it's bugs
and foibles. The timezone issue is irritating, not being able to create your
own colour labels, or more labels than the default is also irritating.
Outlook Today is just a total mess..

However, there's no comparable substitute, so we deal with what we've got.

There is a quick fix to this (without going into the Politics) you would
need to change the Time Zone back and then export the Calendar to say an
Excel file and then delete all entries in the Calendar then change the Time
Zone to what it should be and then import the information back in. I would
first make a copy of your Calendar before you delete though
