Hi all,
One of my clients has a strange problem. Since installing Office 2007 and
Exchange 2003, they have been using shared calendars. However, at random
times during the day, random calendars (never the same) close - in other
words, the check mark by the name in the list of calendars is removed. When
clicking on the check mark to reopen the calendar, they get the error "The
messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists,
restart Outlook." After restarting Outlook, they can reopen the calendar.
Further useful information:
- It happens at random times during the day, 2-3 times per day
- It happens for 3 people in the organisation, but these three people have
identical situations to the rest of the people and are also located in
completely different areas of the building
- When the error occurs, Outlook is showing "Connected to Microsoft
Exchange" in the bottom right hand corner
- The calendars which are unchecked seem to be random
Does anybody have any ideas?
