Outlook Calendars on home network

At home I have a PC and a laptop. They are connected wirelessly. Both have
Office 2007. I do not use Outlook for e-mail. Is there a way that I can
"synch" both Outlook calendars so that dual entries are required to keep them
both updated? Ditto Outlook contacts?

Although I'm now in retirement my family schedule remains busy, and I seem
to be stuck with updating the PC and printing a hard copy of the calendar for
trips or with using the laptop exclusively. Are there any reasonably easy
(and no cost....) ways of doing this?

Conventional Microsoft "Help" resources have been markedly UNhelpful in
resolving my problem.

I should have said ...so that dual entries are NOT required."

Depends on the OS. If you have XP Pro then there is a very sweet solution
here:

(Not sure whether that applies to Vista or not....)
