Outlook: "Can not save free/busy information"

When I create any new tasks, reminders and events in outlook I get a little
flash window in the bottom corner of my screen saying "Can not save free/busy
information". So every time I restart outlook it loses my newly added items.
I have tried closing outlook and opening the mail option in control panel and
deleting the outlook .pst file and reading it but that did not seem to
resolve the issue. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Outlook version please? Have you tried running Detect and Repair?
