Outlook cannot display this view. A folder by this name already ex

Now I am experiencing additional problems with OL2003. It started doing
automatic send/receives. Also, when I click the Activities tab for a
contact, I get the message - "Outlook cannot display this view. A folder by
this name already exists." Should I just un-install and re-install? What
are the caveats? It's part of a pre-installed Office 2003 on a Dell running
XP?
