Outlook can't connect to our computer

Hello.
Sub7 was used on our computer,
and our ISP called us and informed us that our computer
was being used for hacking attempts on them (the isp).
A friend (in the computer business) said that we should
install outlook again and then import our old files.

But when I try to install outlook again,
I can't choose the directory.

And when I test the import/export feature (I try to import
a saved folder back into outlook) nothing happens after
the job's completion - the folder is not added.

Anyone have ideas on what I can do?
