Outlook can't send or receive

Hi
Outlook 2003 was working fine yesterday, then suddenly it failed t
send or receive and said that it couldn't connect to server. Hav
tried: system restore, reboot, reconnect broadband connection
reinstalling Outlook - nothing works. Have put one of my emai
accounts into Outlook Express and it works fine. Any ideas. I don'
want to give up on Outlook as I use it for appointments etc. Help??

Try running scanpst.exe on your PST file (with Outlook closed). If that
fails to correct the problem try a new profile via the Mail icon in Control
Panel.

Hi - thanks for your reply.
I actually managed to solve it myself in the end. It seems that Norto
Internet Security had reset itself and was being over-zealous i
blocking my access to the servers! Went via Symantec Support and use
their fix tools to solve - all working fine now - thanks again
