Our organization uses Exchange Server 5.5 (Win NT 4.0 server) and Outlook 2000 clients.
When the Outlook Address Book is opened of one particular mailbox and the vertical scrollbar is moved to see items that are hidden at the moment the client is opened, Outlook 2000 crashes. Any action that unhides the hidden items in the list (pressing the arrow down key) triggers the crash.
This is a copy of the error message on a Win 98 SE with Outlook 2000 (SP-(9.0.0.6627):
OUTLOOK caused a stack fault in module EMSMDB32.DLL at 0167:62731ab6.

The error occurs on different client machines.
Recreating the user's profile doesn't resolve the problem.
There were no system changes whatsoever.
OAB's of other users work perfectly on machines that crash with the effected mailbox and vice versa. The error occurs on clients running different OS (win98SE, win2000 pro SP4)
