Outlook caused an error in MSO9.dll

Daniel

Hi all experts,

Since a while I am experiencing problems with Outlook, whenever I try to
star it up I get a message saying that Outlook caused an error in MSO9.dll.
No such problem when using Outlook Express. I used to have that problem
since long time but at first I could start Outlook anyway when I tried often
enough.
I run an updated virus check almost every day (AVG with latest update) and
run Spybot and Ad-Aware on a regular (weekly basis).
Thanks for any help and advice I can get.

A simple search on the file name returned these results:

http://support.microsoft.com/search...L&maxResults=25&Titles=false&numDays=&InCC=on

(Note URL will wrap) so you can try them at your convenience for the correct
one.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Daniel asked:
