Outlook changed in how it looks

Last week my computer froze up. I had Outlook open and Explorer. When I
rebooted and went back into Outlook, it had changed. I was not able to see
the messages in my inbox. Instead there was a notation that says "Flag
Status: Unflagged (50 items). Next to it is a plus sign. When I click on the
plus sign, all my messages appear. They are no longer grouped by "today,
yesterday, etc".
How do I get Outlook to display messages by "today, yesterday, etc" and get
rid of the "Flag Status: Unflagged" line?
