Outlook Check Boxes

In Lotus Notes, there are check boxes next to the e-mails that can be
used to select the e-mail for possible move, delete, etc. This is
like using ctrl and selecting other e-mails. I was wondering if
there was an option in 2003/2007 Outlook that mirrors this or an
add-on/script that can provide this.

Hard to know exactly what you want to achieve from " This is like using ctrl
and selecting other e-mails" but here are some things that could get you on
the right track:

you can ctrl click multiple emails in Outlook, then right click to bring up
a context sensitive menu
try flagging emails
try dragging email to the Tasks folder to set when you want to do it
try dragging an email to the Calendar to turn it into an appointment
try right clicking one or more selected emails and setting a Category

Well, in Lotus Notes you can "check off" messages in the inbox (for
example)... after you are done reviewing them, you click on delete or
move without having to do any other steps. Just didn't know if
Outlook could do the same without have to select each message all at
once then delete.

You can click on Delete without having to do any other steps in Outlook.

Maybe you would like the Search Folder function in Outlook as well. You
could show all the Flagged emails, then select themm al and Delete.
