Outlook Check Names only finds first word in first/last name

If I have a contact with two last names (FirstName LastName1 LastName2) and I
enter just the second last name in the "To:" box and click Check Names, no
results are returned. Similarly, if a contact consists of a married couple
filed as LastName, Husband & Wife, then Check Names will return this contact
if I enter the husbands name but not if I enter the wifes names. Is there a
way to make Check Names check all words in a contact's name?
