Outlook Clients cannot connect to exchange server

Last week I iplemented exchange 2003
I had an Exchange 5.5 organization with 2 sites.

I installed 2 exchange 2003 servers in site A.
I moved several mailboxes From site A to the noew servers but not all of
them.

I did not move any mailboxes from Site B (which has one Ex55 server). These
users will be moved into a Sigle site(site A) at a later date.

Now my users who are still on the 5.5 server are having problems.
Both the users in site A and Site B.

When they open thier Outlook they get a message stating that they cannot
contact thier exchange server. (IP, DNS,Wins all good). When I open the
Outlook Profile Properties and try to Re-resolve the mailbox it errors.

However, if I list the 2003 server as the exchange server, the mailbox will
resolve with its own exchange 55. server listed in the serverbox. BUT, you
cannot open the mailbox, you get a cannot connect to server error.

Now If in this Outlook Profile I resolve a mailbox on the Exchange 2003
server and then open that mailbox, I can then go back to the same profile and
enter the settings for the mailbox on the 5.5 server and it will resolve and
open the mailbox.
But only on that outlook profile. I I create a new profile I will get the
errors again Until I open a mailbox on the 2003 server

I would appriciate any help I can get with this one.

Thank you

Mark
