Outlook Closes When I select a new e-mail

I'm transferring my existing e-mail from Outlook 2002 to 2007. I'm using the
XP Media operating system (SP3). I added my previous pst files as 2002
files. This morning was the first time that I received new mail. I looked
at the first couple and everything was alright. I clicked on the next and
Outlook closed and I had to restart. There's also another e-mail causing the
same problem. I believe it may have something to do with downloading
pictures. I changed the security to allow it to download pictures but with
the same result.

Any help would be appreciated!

I believe I've found the reason for my problem. I'm currently using AVAST
antivirus. When I disable the E-Mail scan the problem goes away.
