Outlook COM Plug-in

I am quite new for this topic. Any hint to get started? do I have to write
with VB? Links to tutorial and code sample would be nice. I would like to
write for both Outlook (97,2000,XP, 2003) and Outlook Express.

Outlook Express doesn't support COM addins and they were introduced in
Outlook 2000 for Outlook. For prior versions of Outlook you would have to
write an Exchange extension using only Extended MAPI and C++ or Delphi.
