Outlook CommandBar Animation and Effects

Hi,

I want to add a command bar button in my Outlook 2003 and 2007 Addins which
will display a text at runtime with fading effects and the text will also
change after some time (May be through a timer). The text must have fading
effects. Also, i want to add animated image with the text.

Is this possible ?

To add to what Andre said, natively there is no way to do that. You would
have to use a tool such as Add-in Express, which locks you into that
framework.
