Outlook conflict with Outlook Express Inbox

I'm running XP, SP2. Some Pop mail downloads to Outlook, other to
Express. How do I turn off the Outlook Inbox [I use Outlook for other
activities but prefer Express as my mailer].

Either remove the account from Outlook or configure the send/receive group
to not perform the send/receive.
