We've recently been having problems at a remote location with their ability
to connect to our exchange server (Exchange 2000) using Outlook. We connect
with this location across a site-to-site VPN. Their tunnel terminates on a
Cisco PIX. We've been working with Microsoft support now for several weeks.
They suggest there is a problem with port 1214 and that this port should be
opened on their firewall. However, port 1214 is the port for Kazaa. Does
this request sound OK? I'm hesitant to suggest the opening of a port on the
firewall that will permit known vulnerablilities. Any suggetions?
